With over 35 years of dedicated public service in Lorain County, I have consistently worked to improve the lives of residents throughout our community and county. My experience has given me an unwavering commitment to public service and to making a meaningful difference for all who call Lorain County home. From City Council to executive leadership, I have led with accountability, integrity and a deep commitment to community progress. I will continue to advocate for fair and effective service by listening to the concerns of the residents.

As a Commissioner, my priorities will be to focus on accountability, transparency and securing quality, good paying jobs.  

Additionally, I will look to expand stronger economic opportunities by addressing the unique needs in our county. I am dedicated to reviewing budgets to ensure that the rural, urban and suburban communities receive the adequate funding they require to thrive and grow. My approach is rooted in collaboration, fiscal responsibility and long-term planning that benefits the entire county. I will ensure that your tax dollars, as well as state and federal grant monies, will be spent on projects that benefit the residents.  Residents will be informed and included on projects impacting them and their input valued. Funds will not be allocated on projects that are being done in secret backroom deals or without appropriate input from residents.

A County Commissioner should possess a deep understanding of economic development, and budgeting as a pathway to financial solutions.  My career as a Bank Manager and Assistant Vice President  included helping individuals secure their first mortgages and assisting small business owners in obtaining loans. As a licensed investment representative, I managed client funds through strategic investments, thereby optimizing their returns. In addition, I also hold a license as an insurance agent -- again helping clients to focus on preservation and leaving a legacy for their families.

My first task as Commissioner will be to thoroughly assess the county budget, thereby identifying where funds are allocated, ensuring they are distributed equitably for the economic well being of rural, urban and suburban communities. 

Lorain stands as one of the largest and most diverse areas in Ohio. As our communities continue to evolve, our leadership should reflect our identity. My experience, qualifications and dedicated service to all residents will make a difference in Lorain County. Having a diverse mix ensures that everyone should benefit equally. Women in leadership roles have continued to grow in every sector of our country and serve to balance our government leadership.  

Leadership is not simply a title, but something earned through service, integrity and a steadfast commitment to representing those you serve. I am confident that my qualifications and accomplishments demonstrate my ability to grow and lead our county into developed growth and prosperity.  My dedication will be to the people of Lorain County to ensure that all can and will thrive in our rural, urban and suburban areas.

Disciplined management and careful fiscal oversight are essential for accountability in maintaining infrastructure, housing and safety. As a licensed investment professional, and former bank manager, I understand the connection between local government and financing. I am committed to financial responsibility by diligently reviewing county funds and budget allocations. This oversight will ensure each areas of our county is receiving equitable funding. 

As a commissioner, I will welcome small businesses, entrepreneurs and innovative ideas that will help our county grow and prosper. Working with our larger businesses and learning of their needs will ensure they can also continue to be viable. We must put forth efforts to assist them in ways to ensure they do not have to close down or leave the county.  This effort will also continue to help our tax base.  I will listen and respond to the concerns of our residents with quarterly meetings. I am also deeply supportive of veterans, seniors and families in transition, ensuring that ALL are given the resources and assistance they need. 

I do not believe in waiting for change, instead I actively work to make change happen. I am running to improve the  community we all call home. My dedication to that end will be what I will work toward daily.
